The 115th Congress Is Sworn In Today

     The Republicans wanted it to be some thing special. So they held a secret, closed door, session and decided the very first thing to be done should be to take away the function of the U.S. Office of Independent Counsel, tasked with investigating government officials. They created a bill to put those responsibilities under the House of Representatives! You heard me, they wanted the responsibility of investigating their wrongdoing themselves, the fox in the hen house scenario, You got it! They want to get rid of the only independent council overseeing ethics and put themselves in charge of investigating themselves. Another very important part of the bill called for "No investigations on anything older than 2011"! Why could that possibly be? OH! WTF?! Could it be that many of them did something wrong leading up to the financial crisis of 2008-2009?! And they want to be sure if their culpability is found they can rely on this law to not be prosecuted because Congress wouldn't be allowed to investigate? For such STUPID MF's they sure get good ideas when it comes to "covering their asses (CYA). You know, the same people who spent over $7M of taxpayers money voting to repeal "The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act", (aka Obamacare,) 59 times! All the while knowing it would NEVER pass, much less get signed by President Barack Obama. So, the Republicans wanted the very first act of the 115th Congress to put the fox in charge of the hen house. Very interesting. But this post is about the media and how they are shaping the story to tell you what their corporate owners want them to spread. All morning it was being talked about in the media, all over the media. I personally read at least three articles where they "quoted" representatives saying that they were going to "reconsider" because their phone lines were being "swamped" by people objecting to their latest move to take away the oversight of ethics from the independent council. Welcome 115th Congress. You do know of course the large corporations that own the media want to make nice with the President-elect right?

The Republicans Are Beat Down - But MSM Decides - Trump Is The Reason - Mysteriously 

     So it starts to get reported that the Republicans had went back into secret session, closed door, meeting and when they come out, they have decided that instead of the entire House of Representatives voting on this secretly devised/closed door/ bill they would withdraw the bill all together. But now the MSM is saying they did because President-elect Donald J. Trump tweeted. At 10:03 AM he did tweet (in 2 tweets, read the bottom one first) this:

     But by 2:00 PM when reporting that the Republicans withdrew the bill all media was giving Trump credit for them reversing themselves. What happened to the "public outcry" the members of Congresses phone lines being swamped? I've heard only one mention of it in hours when Chuck Todd (MSNBC - Meet The Press Daily) at about 5:00 PM when he said "It appears the Republicans learned their first lesson, the hard way, especially when it comes to dealing with Donald Trump, ethics, and a public outcry." Other than that you would not know that many representatives earlier were actually more concerned that their phone lines were ringing o"off the hook." Contrary to many people's believe contacting your own Representatives by phone, or e-mail, is VERY effective when a lot of people do it at the same time. This has been my mission on my blog Get Involved For A Better America and my Facebook page Stop The Obstructionist Tea Party since the their inception, to educate, help people FIND their own Representatives, and then to contact them by phone and/or e-mail. Four More Former Government Officials Indicted

     The governor's office in MI is exempt from freedom of information laws (FOIL), which is a story in itself, and Governor Snyder (R-MI) has used that exemption for everything it's worth. Gov. Snyder has refused to release key documents on the poisoning of people in the city of Flint, MI, for the past 2 1/2 years. Anyone that thinks many incriminating documents of Snyder and his appointed Emergency Managers and staff haven't been destroyed by now are simply not in touch with reality. But Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is still making progress with indictments of former state-appointed Emergency Managers Darnell Earley and Gerald Ambrose and former city employees Howard Croft, a public works superintendent, and Daugherty Johnson, a utilities manager, who were the latest to be charged by AG Schuette. That brings the total indictments to 13 as 9 people had been charged prior to the third round of indictments that took place yesterday. The two Emergency Managers can be sentenced to 40 years in prison each, one of them 46 years because he made public statements that the water was safe to drink when he knew it wasn't. The indictments are now at the door of the Governor, will they make it into his office? With those indicted already saying the decisions were made at the highest levels, the Governor's office, he should be. The system of taking away democracy and replacing local politicians with "Emergency Managers" who are picked by, and who only report to, the Governor, is still in effect in Michigan!

The "Midas" Touch - How Gov. Snyder Stole $150M

     Michigan Integrated Data Automation System, "M.I.D.A.S." is the name of a computer Rachael Maddow (The Rachael Maddow Show/MSNBC) reported on her show yesterday that was brought online by Gov. Snyder in the fall of 2013. Michigan elected Republican Governor Rick Snyder in 2010, he was a computer executive before then. What MIDAS did was kick all human beings out of the process of evaluating unemployment applications. What MIDAS actually did is turn the problem of unemployed people into money. When MIDAS was brought online it started treating everyone who applied for unemployment benefits like criminals. The automated system erroneously accused claimants in 93% of cases of fraud. Michigan unemployment agency made 20,000 false fraud accusations. Instead of getting their unemployment checks applicants had their applications kicked back to them and accused them of fraud. And when it did that it didn't make it clear that applicants could appeal that finding. People did not know they were even eligible to appeal against the fraud charge. People who did appeal, in 9 out of 10 cases, WON! It's an intimidating system where it tells the applicants that they made a fraudulent application and they could go to jail and have to pay fines. The people accused lost access to unemployment payments, and reported facing fines as high as $100,000. Many people did not only not appeal, not get their unemployment benefits, but were scared and started paying the fines. People who didn't pay their fines had their federal and state taxes garnished. People who were expecting a tax return, instead got a letter saying that because of the MIDAS finding of fraud the state was keeping it. Carolyn Hayes was one of the 27,000 people accused of fraud by the MIDAS system. Carolyn won her two appeals, in fact the state auditor general's report showed that of those that appealed the fraud finding, in 9 out of 10 cases won. This system held onto the money that people paid in fines,and the money garnished, and held from federal and state tax returns. You wouldn't think you can get that much money from poorer people but it did. The account that held money paid in fines and such from unemployment, the Michigan Unemployment Agency Contingent Fund, prior to MIDAS being implemented had $3.1M, in 2011. Now, after MIDAS was implemented, it holds $155M. That's MIDAS, it turns everything into gold, or in this case, money. Congressman Sandy Levin (D-MI-9) has been all over this. Two major lawsuits have been filed against the state of Michigan and has resulted in a "limited review" of this MIDAS catastrophe and what it has done to people. So far, of the money took, unlawfully, 2,571 individuals have been repaid a total of $5.4M from the $155M that they stole from these people who lost their job, filed for unemployment, were told they committed fraud, paid fines, all the while not having any money for food and housing. Because it's Michigan though, Rachael Maddow says, "I believe that because they continue to be the least appreciated, and most radical Republicans in the whole country, they passed a bill this week to transfer $10M of that stolen money, calling it a "surplus" unemployment insurance funds to help balance the state budget. They're probably going to try to use all of it before they are ordered to repay the people they stole it from. You know, the people that lost their jobs, had no money for food, clothing, and housing, were not only denied unemployment benefits, but were told they committed fraud and had to pay fines to avoid jail, were not allowed to re-apply, and had their tax returns taken by the state. Even while the investigations are going on, they pass a bill to take $10M of the stolen money to balance their state budget. In 2013 when MIDAS was being put into use Governor Rick Snyder appointed an "Emergency Manager" to the city of Flint. The "Emergency Manager" law is a democracy stealing law that takes away democracy in that it allows the Governor to totally ignore elections of local officials who were duly elected by the people and appoint "Emergency Managers" picked solely by the Governor and who report ONLY to the Governor. It is still in effect.

     Ryan Schleeter of EcoWatch reports Flint, MI, still does not have clean drinking water. Now, President-elect Donald Trump—whose campaign stump speech included a crude joke about the city's water crisis—has tapped one of the people responsible for the crisis to join his cabinet.

     Betsy DeVos, Trump's pick for Secretary of Education, and her family have a long history of using their wealth to manipulate Michigan state elections and push through "reforms" that undercut local democracy. She's a staunch advocate of privatization measures that shift power from people to corporations—and one of those measures led directly to the poisoning of Flint's water and citizens. Read more.

LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency recently finished a review of 22,427 fraud determinations, and 93 percent of those cases have been overturned, according to the UIA. Of those cases, 2,571 people have been repaid a total of $5.4 million.

     With 34 days left to his inauguration President-elect Donald J. Trump is ignoring the fact the Vladimir Putin is responsible for hacking our country, interfering with our election process, interfering with our political process, and attacking our democracy. He is not only ignoring facts but is discrediting our entire intelligence community.

     Donald Trump has already created dangerous situations where he is being blackmailed by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "Some of the most egregious that have emerged involve countries in Asia and it's subregions, particularly the Philippines."     Trump has picked for the head of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) a man who denies climate change, denies climate change! He picked a guy that is against the minimum wage to head up the Depart of Labor. He picked Lt. General Michael Flynn, (Ret.) who "inappropriately shared" classified information with foreign military officers in Afghanistan and was separated from the military yet started a "Lock Her Up" campaign against Hillary Clinton after the FBI found there was no "reasonable" evidence that her e-mail server had compromised classified information.  He picked someone to head Health and Human Services (HHS) that wants to privatize Medicare. Medicare operates on a 2% administrative cost whereas commercial insurance companies were keeping 40%-50% of the money collected for premiums for administrative costs and turning around and giving that money to executives as bonuses, prior to The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) and are still taking 18%-20% of premiums as "administrative costs." Trump picked the Exxon/Mobil CEO to be Secretary of State. A man who after the United States brokered a deal so that the people in one of the poorest countries in the world would be cared for, after they discovered oil, got the dictator of that country to throw out the U.S. and another oil company to get paid by Exxon and use $4.5B to buy weapons instead of feeding, educating, and building hospitals.      The President-elect is choosing to deny what the intelligence community has reported and is supporting Russia saying "hacking, who even knows if there was hacking, and they say it was Russia, they don't know if it was Russia, it could be Russia, or China, or a 400 lb. man in a bed," and that was said AFTER he was briefed and knew it WAS Russia that not only interfered with our election, but quite possible it was done to help him win, and that Vladimir Putin was directly involved.

     Even Republicans are in agreement with President Obama, a very big difference of the case for Obama's entire eight years, that Putin, and Russia, must be retaliated against for what they did, and are still doing. It was reported today that Russian hacking continues unabated to this day.

     President Obama will address the nation at 2:15 PM EST to address this crisis. President Obama yesterday suggested that Vladimir Putin was involved in the hacking and went further in saying that the U.S. WILL respond. "I think there's no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections that we need to take action, and we will, at a time and place of our own choosing. Some of it may be explicit and publicized, some of it may not be, but Mr. Putin is well aware of my feelings on this because I spoke to him directly about this.

How Transparent is Trump Going To Be?

First he said he would "turn over his tax returns when the Internal Revenue Service audit was completed." After the IRS said there was nothing illegal about him turning over his tax returns during an audit he changed his excuse to "I will turn over my tax returns when Hillary turns over her 33,000 missing e-mails." Well, the election is over making that a moot point, yet, no tax returns. It's no secret that Trump does not like ANY media because they report his exact words, which a very high percentage of the time turn out to be outright lies, or ignorance. Today he tweeted "The media tries so hard to make my move to the White House, as it pertains to my business, so complex - when actually it isn't!" Really?! "How about how his kids are going to run his businesses, and just not tell him anything? What about that long awaited "Press Conference" he's been touting for today that was going to explain how "easy it's going to be.?" Perhaps it was postponed until "sometime in January" because Kurt Eichenwald, (Newsweek) published a cover story on Wednesday showing very serious conflicts that have already been put in play. "Conflicts Zone - How Trump's Business Ties Have Put America In A Bind" was previewed by Rachael Maddow (The Rachael Maddow Show - MSNBC) on Tuesday night and explained how Donald Trump mentioned, in fact carried on about and praised, an executive of the Dogan company, that is the key player in building the "Trump Towers - Istanbul" during a congratulatory phone call from the President of Turkey, the day after he was elected. The President of Turkey wants an Imam, a United States citizen, living in Pennsylvania, extradited, because he believes the Imam is responsible for coordinating the coup attempt in Turkey this past summer. So, on Tuesday, The President of Turkey arrested that executive and blamed him and the founder of the company, for being complicit in the coup attempt. An official in the Turkey government said, "The President of Turkey wants someONE, and the President-elect of the United States wants someTHING (that would be the millions of dollars Trump and his family are getting for letting that company, Dogan, use the Trump name on those towers)." Reince Priebus, President-elect Donald Trump's soon to be Chief of Staff, told conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt today, "Even looking at things like the daily, the daily White House briefing from the Press Secretary, I mean, there's a lot of different ways things can be done and I assure you we're looking at that. The first front row of assigned seats issue, as I understand it, started in the Obama administration. In the Bush administration, you just took a seat and I guess there were a couple people that had reserved spots, but for the most part, the more formalized reserved seating piece came in over the last eight years. That issue is being talked about. The Point of all this conversation is that the traditions, while some of them are great, I think it's time to revisit a lot of these things that have been done in the White House."

Trump has said recently of his tweeting "I tweet because press not covering my honestly." Does President-elect Trump understand what a "free press" is? I know for a fact he doesn't know what a "blind trust" is. Does he think that when the press reports his exact words, which are often lies, outrageous fabrications, and attacks on our (soon to be his) intelligence community that the press is being dishonorable?

     He reported on his income tax that he LOST nearly 1 BILLION DOLLARS operating casinos and Trump Airlines. WHAT "GREAT BUSINESSMAN" loses almost $1B operating (actually only $916M) CASINOS? He also lost money on Trump Magazine, Trump Steaks, and so many more. He is being investigated for the fraudulent Trump University where even the instructors at the university say it "was a total fraud." "We were taught to get every dollar every student had access to." These were hard-working, scraping by, people, who wanted to make themselves better and have a little better life. HOW COULD ANYONE SUPPORT THIS MAN TO BE PRESIDENT? His economic plan has been reviewed by ALL the top economist and one thing they all agree on is it will raise the deficit by $5T. It will give corporations and the richest 1/10th of 1% people in this country even bigger tax breaks than GWB did when he took from Social Security and raised the deficit while allowing the financial world to take most Americans retirement, homes, 401K's, etc. Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is on all the Sunday news shows saying he (Trump) has a fiduciary responsibility to his investors to take those deductions on his $916 million dollar loss and NOT PAY A NICKEL IN INCOME TAX FOR 18 YEARS! The problem with what the terrible surrogate is saying is THESE ARE "PERSONAL" INCOME TAXES, NOT BUSINESS TAXES!!! There are NO investors! We're talking about "PERSONAL" INCOME TAXES!  Surrogates Impossible Job is Evident On Sunday News Shows

It's evident that Donald J Trump, Republican Presidential Candidate, has given his surrogates no way to defend him. This week has been disastrous for the campaign and the candidate. When actual "scientific" polls (which most Republicans won't recognize because they don't recognize "Science" or "Climate Change" to be a real thing) came out after Wednesday the polls clearly show that by a margin of 2-1 most Americans feel Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton won the debate. In the meantime Trump was attacking a Former "Miss Universe" Alicia Machado for gaining weight after being chosen for the title. Days later after the debate he started a Twitter rant at about 3:00AM that lasted until about 5:00AM and included that there was a sex tape that the former Miss Universe was involved in that turned out to be yet another totally fabricated LIE! Now after stating at his campaign "rallies" that "Millionaires and Billionaires must pay their fair share," The New York Times received a copy of part of his 1995 tax return showing he claimed a $916M business loss which could mean he didn't pay ANY personal income taxes for 18 years. Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ) a Advisor/Surrogate who has his own problems because in the case against the people closest to him in his Governors office (at the time) defend themselves for closing a lane on the George Washington Bridge as payback to the Fort Lee, NJ Mayor for not endorsing him in his re-election campaign for Governor. They caused horrendous traffic jams for days, they said it was a traffic study, a lie, there was testimony that he indeed WAS aware of the plans and execution of the payback plan. A conference call was played in court this week of which the Governor was on, talking about executing the plan. Surrogate Christie on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace said "there's no one who has showed more genius about how to manipulate around the terrible tax code." Christie says the article didn't say Trump didn't pay any taxes for 18 years, so this is "a good story for Trump." Chris Wallace points out that the campaigns response was a non-denial denial that they said Trump has a "Fiduciary responsibility... to pay no more tax than is legally required."  The first problem with that is that the campaign is NOT denying he didn't pay any personal income tax for 18 years. The second problem is what they gave to the surrogates to use is in fact NOT TRUE! They are saying he has a "fiduciary responsibility" to not pay more taxes then he should, yes, IN BUSINESS TAXES, NOT PERSONAL INCOME TAXES. There is no "fiduciary responsibility" to any investors nor anyone, in your PERSONAL TAXES. As stated earlier, Donald Trump's surrogates have absolutely no way to defend him. One final note, in addition to Trump totally fabricating a "sex tape" claim (that doesn't exist) starring the Former Miss Universe, today, Trump has, without ANY evidence, as usual, has stated that "who knows if Hillary has been faithful to Bill?" WTF?! He has no boundaries for his outlandish, outrageous, lies.

Hillary is One of the Worst Presidential Candidates in USA History But Still Is Not As Dangerous As A Trump Presidency

     Let me be clear from the beginning, I am not "for" nor do I "like" Hillary Clinton and think she is one of the most absolute worst presidential candidates in history, but I'm not willing to put the most dangerous, sociopath, unknowing, racist, Islamophobic, unwilling to learn what is needed to be president, into the presidency. She is a pathological liar (like Trump) that lies in the media even after her lies had been totally disproved. She totally disrespected all Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) supporters when she immediately "promoted" Debbie Wassermann-Schultz, Former Chairperson of the DNC after an e-mail hack showed that the Democratic Nation Committee (DNC) had indeed conspired against the Sanders campaign. She has committed crimes that anyone else would be in prison for with her lies and "excessive carelessness" with her illegal use of a personal e-mail server and how she said she wanted to use "only one device" and in fact not only used 13 different devices, but destroyed the ones with the really bad stuff, with hammer! But, she will be elected and we can watch her like a hawk, hold her to what Bernie Sanders made her put into the Democratic Platform," and she will, with her experience in government, and how it works, WILL get at least some things done for Americans whom have been paying dearly since the 2008-2009 financial crises created by the greedy, corporations, financial CEO's and Executives, and Republican politicians, that are bought and paid for, like Hillary herself, because she will be being watched like a hawk. Donald Trump didn't know what the "Nuclear Triad" was, so his campaign got him one of the most respected experts on nuclear weaponry in the world for a one-hour "teaching" session. During that session he actually asked the expert, THREE TIMES, "If we have nuclear weapons, why haven't we used them?" REALLY?! This man is way to dangerous to be the President of the United States. He again this week showed that he can't help himself when someone says something he doesn't like, keeping up the attacks on the former Miss Universe and starting a Twitter attack between the hours of 3:00AM through 5:00AM instead of letting it die. He has NO real policies that will work, nor will he be able to implement them as he has no idea of how bills are actually created and passed.  

      I hope this clears up whether I'm "for" or "like" Hillary Clinton and why I think it is a must that we don't allow Donald Trump into the White House. As he said himself he'll "get to Washington, DC one way or another," referring to his new hotel built out of the old post office. Let him get to Washington, DC by staying at the hotel where he called a press conference where he "played" the news media promising an apology on keeping the birther issue alive for 5 years past when President Barack Obama produced his long form birth certificate and then spent all of 39 seconds saying "President Barack Obama was born in the United States" and attempted to talk about his hotel for the rest of the hour-and-a-half. 

     This election is too important for many reasons. We need to take back some of the 31 states that have a Republican-controlled Governorship or State-controlled Legislatures. These states are gerrymandering the voting district lines to assure a Republican wins before a single vote is cast, despite the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of states having an "Independent Council" draw the voting district lines, signing into law unconstitutional Voter (obstruction) ID Laws, and many more laws that the very constituents of theirs are totally against. We have to get the Senate and the House to where we have Congress that will work together to actually get things done. We can no longer afford to be obstructed and not moving forward. The United States Supreme Court, to have Congress block President Obama's nominee for a replacement for the late Anthony Scalia to even get a single hearing, much less a vote, for more than a year is unbelievable disrespect for the American people who voted them in to do a job, which they have been absolutely refusing to do. Why are we paying them $175,000 and giving them a platinum healthcare plan for doing absolutely NOTHING?!

     We need to fire ALL the politicians that are not acting in the best interests of their constituents, period!

Trump Started Strong

     Initially it appeared that whatever little preparation Donald Trump did with his campaign staff was working, like he was reading from a teleprompter. He addressed trade and her never-ending e-mail problems. He definitely scored when he said that Hillary called TPP "the gold standard" before she was against it. PolitiFact live-fact-checking found her saying those exact words in an address over seas. He later kind of wasted his attack on her e-mails when he was answering the question from Lester Holt on why he wouldn't release his tax returns. First he said he would release his taxes after the audit is over (even though the IRS has put a statement out saying there is no reason he can't release his taxes because of the audit) and then immediately said "I've been under audit for the last 15 years" and then a moment later changed to "I'll release my taxes when Hillary releases the 33,000 deleted e-mails."

Then Trump Became Trump

     Then, drinking a lot of water, sneering, interrupting, and not being able to stand still like a kindergarten child having to go to the bathroom, it became evident that he was uncomfortable and starting to lose his composure. Once their he put the fact checkers into overdrive as his lies multiplied, and he repeated things that everyone who doesn't live completely off-the-grid now know to be absolutely false, lies. For five years after President Obama produced his long form birth certificate Donald Trump continued using the birther ridiculousness to rile up his based because let's face it, it was the birther show and the "build a wall" promise that has been his core stance since day one of his candidacy and he was still using his birther lie as late as last week. Continuing to lie about being "opposed to the Iraq war long before it started" and "strongly opposed" to it also went over like a led balloon because anyone with any kind of instrument/device that allows you to hear, or see, heard him on Howard Stern say he guesses so as to whether we should invade Iraq. Drinking more water, making faces, fidgeting, and starting to interrupt with constant "wrong," "no," "I didn't say that," and making faces, signaled that he had arrived, in his parallel universe and would no longer be able to look , or sound, presidential. 

Hillary Was Prepared

It's the American people who lose when during a debate like this the candidates don't lay out explicit plans they have to solve our problems and it was Hillary Clinton who won as far as having, and expressing, actual plans. Trump again said "you have no plan" about childcare, and again, she has had a thorough plan posted for an eternity. When she said "go to hillaryclinton.com to read it" he interjected "I do too, go to my website," he doesn't have any well thought out plans that actually have a chance of working. Like his economic plan that give the richest in the country big tax breaks, that experts say will increase the deficit from $20T to $25T and lose another 3.5 million jobs. You know, like the unpaid tax breaks to the rich that George W. Bush took over $800M from Social Security for and in addition exploded the deficit. Trump supporters aren't going anywhere because as their candidate said, he could walk down 5th Avenue and shoot someone and he wouldn't lose a single supporter. I get it, I understand, why people are angry, I'm angry, angry that all of the wealth and income is going to the top 1/10th of 1%, I'm angry that we have a Congress that obstructs everything for their own political gain, and greed, that we have infrastructure that is past deficient and we could be putting a lot of people into good paying jobs to start to rebuild that infrastructure. But Trump saying that he will fix it all doesn't mean he has any idea whatsoever that he knows how he would fix even the smallest problems. When asked about how he would deal with violence, race, and police and community relations, his answer is to implement "Stop & Frisk." Really?! Stop and Frisk in NYC had 9 million minorities stopped and frisked and only .2% of those stopped were found to be arrest-able. It was unconstitutional. And rightfully so. That is his great plan for how to change the poor relations between police and the community? 

We Need Change

We need change, we need to stop the oligarchy, we need to get money out of politics and overturn Citizen's United with a constitutional amendment. We need to start putting CEO's in real prisons, for appropriate sentences. Look at the latest where Wells Fargo CEO enticed and showed over 12,000 employees how to steal money from their own customers accounts to open accounts that they never wanted or even knew bout. The stock went up because the CEO got his directive and each customer ended up with numerous accounts, his stock options increased in value by $200M because of the fraud, and he is going to be allowed to just walk away with the bank's customers money. Oh, and don't forget, he fired 5,300 of their employees to say he took care of "the problem." We need to fire all the Tea Party Republicans, Republicans and Democrats that follow the lobbyists requests for their own benefit, and all of the obstructionists that are refusing to do their jobs that we are paying them for. Not allowing President Obama's nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court to get an up/down vote, or even as much as a hearing is preposterous, and willful neglect for the job they swore they would perform and for the American people who voted them in.Let's get out and vote on November 8, 2016 and fire the establishment, give the next President a House and Senate that will work with the President, and get American going in the right direction at breakneck speed.

Trump Never Actually Wanted The Job, Just The Attention

     Donald J. Trump, Republican Nominee for President of the United States,  played with the idea of running for President in a few Presidential election cycles. He enjoyed the attention he got when the media kept after him as he was "deciding" whether or not he was going to run. Until this current cycle he milked that attention as long as he could and then begrudgingly announced he wasn't going to run, and with that, the attention he loved so much went away. Donald Trump announces his candidacy for the U.S. presidency at Trump Tower on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in New York City. He took the plunge and found himself in a world he worshiped, the world of all eyes focusing on him. He is in fact a egocentric, an incurable narcissist to the nth degree. Possibly a sociopath, for real!  Upon winning the Republican primary he was told that viciously attacking opponents using lies and outrageous statements, although they do get crowds riled up, would not work in the general election. He was now going to have to "pivot" and become more restrained and Presidential. He would have nothing to do with that at first. He then tried a number of times to "stay on message" and be more "Presidential" but couldn't, and still can't. Within hours of reading a prepared, measured, controlled speech from the teleprompter he would find himself tweeting his zany, outrageous, racist, hateful, ignorant, and shocking (although nothing shocks people anymore because of how he is and what he has already said) tweets, contradicting what he had just said hours before. It's then that signs began to show that he didn't really want to do the job that is President of the United States. 

     Leading up to the conventions it was time to pick a Vice Presidential candidate. The vetting of these candidates began. Trump sent Donald Trump Jr. to "vet" John Kasich, Governor of Ohio, and Trump Jr. said to Governor Kasich "how would you like to be the most powerful Vice President there ever was in history." John Kasich was somewhat taken aback said "Well, how would that be?" Donald Trump Jr. said "You would be completely in charge of all foreign and domestic policy." Again aghast at what Trump Jr. just said Kasich responded "but that's EVERYTHING! What would the "President" be doing?" And with that, wait for it, wait for it, with a straight face Donald Trump Jr. said "Making America great again." Now, before all the loyalist Trump supporters deny this and say "that's a lie!" you need to know that Governor Kasich himself has told of this conversation numerous times on Sunday News TV shows and to many media outlets, and not once did Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., nor anyone from the Trump campaign ever say that a single word of what Governor Kasich recounted was inaccurate. That was because by the time the convention came about, Trump had already decided that there was no way he was going to put all his money in a trust, live on the $400,000/yr salary that the President receives, and especially was not going to actually do the  job and fulfill the obligations of the President. A reporter once showed Trump a picture of President Barack Obama, and another of President George W. Bush, both had been wearing traditional garb of the country they were visiting while they were with the leader of that country, the reporter asked Trump, "are you willing to carry on this tradition of protocol?" Trump responded "I'll have someone do that for me."  I guess billionaires are used to having someone do anything that has to be done that they themselves don't want to do. Did you know that the President has to pay for every meal that he, his family, and any private guests eat? Yes, they do. Who Pays for the Obama Family's Food? by mentalfloss.com . Could you imagine Donald J. Trump getting a bill, equivalent in price to what an eight star hotel would charge if they existed, every month?! A Chief Usher for many years at the White House recalled he doesn't "remember a single first family that didn't complain about the high price of food at the White House. What WOULD Trump do if his trained pallet, and that of any private guests, accounted for his entire salary? OH NO! No presents for Melania this year. UH OH! Is there a divorce in the future for "President Trump?!"

Trump Admitted He Doesn't Know "A Lot" of Things A President Needs To Know - Yet He Refuses To Learn, Why?

He doesn't want to bother to learn all that stuff someone would need to be an effective (or at least not the stupidest) President ever. He knows he's not going to need that knowledge because he's never going to be President. Remember, this egomaniac is only in it for the attention he gets at the rallies! I'm being serious, not sarcastic. When asked about not knowing what he would need to know about foreign policy Trump admitted "there's a lot I don't know, but I'll surround myself with the smartest people, the best people, really good people." His ability to do that has not exactly proved to be true as his very first "hire" was Elliot Broidy, whom he brought on to advise him "on all financial matters." Broidy owned a small Wall Street investment firm and had previously plead guilty to bribing people in the NY Attorney General's office, and others, with $1M, to get control of $250M of the NYC Employee Pension Fund, to invest, and then promptly took $18M in fraudulent fees.      Just as he had Donald Trump Jr. have that conversation with Governor Kasich, Donald Trump has given many loud signs that he will not be President and will not fulfill the obligations of the presidency. He also has said many things that should have put up a big red flag that he is constantly lying and has no idea of what is is actually saying, like when he says "I know more about ISIS than the Generals do." REALLY Mr Trump?! REALLY?!, The GENERALS! Who are actually ACTUALLY FIGHTING THE WAR?! REALLY?! You lying, despicable, draft-dodging, piece of S__T! And yea, I'm sure that, like you say in the photo above, you will make our heads spin, but it won't be because you will be "so good at the military." That being the same military you  fraudulently dodged by having some doctor write a note saying you had a "bone spur" which made you incapable of performing any kind of duty in the Armed Forces. Well, let me congratulate you on your complete recovery, and for having the "best health of anyone that ever became President of the United States" as per your Gastroenterologist (I won't use his name here so as not to embarrass him or to have him lose business because he had the unfortunate circumstance of being your doctor) that was given only 5 minutes to write that letter you requested and became "flustered." By the way, he says on his television interview that he was told he needed the letter in 5 minutes because Hillary's campaign was about to release a letter from HER doctor. The problem with that is, that she already produced a letter (one that actually meets the standard) back in JULY! Why would you tell this doctor you needed this letter in 5 minutes because Hillary was about to release hers if she released hers months ago?

     So who does Donald Trump get his military and foreign policy knowledge from? As you can see in the above photo he talks to himself! It must be that military school he went to. You know, the one that "made him feel like he was in the military." Yea, this it! It was that military school that taught him all he knows about foreign policy, which is a resounding ZERO! ZILCH! NADA! NOTHING! But he was smart enough to ask 3 times, 3 times in a one-hour instructional and informational meeting (he needed to learn about nuclear weapons because he slipped awhile back and showed his ignorance when he blurted something out that told everyone in the world that he had no idea of what the Nuclear Triad is) about nuclear weapons from one of the most respected people in the world on the topic, "if we have nuclear weapons, why don't we use them?" Yes 3 times he asked this top expert

     By his own words and especially by the actions of him and his campaign he has basically told everyone that he in no way in hell will put all his money in a trust, live off the $400,000/yr salary, and definitely not live life day-to-day as a President of the United States. As he has said numerous times, after the election he can go back to a REALLY GOOD LIFE.

Trump Has Indicated He Doesn't Want To Win

     Joe Scarborough (Morning Joe/MSNBC) said on his show a few weeks ago that he was with a "very close friend" of Trump's that past weekend and the friend said Trump told him that the best outcome would be that he lost the election (because he doesn't really want to BE president) but only by a few points so then he could claim the election was rigged, for the rest of his life, and not be looked upon as a "loser."  Trump has said he wouldn't do a number of things that the POTUS is required to do, and he doesn't have any notion to do them.

Reaching Out To Minorities Is Imperative To Win -- Oh Well

     Trump's campaign announced about a week before the RNC Convention that the candidate, immediately following the convention, would be going on "An Outreach To The Hispanic Community Tour," because they know for a fact that you can't win a Presidential election with only "old white men" and racists. In fact they actually scheduled events starting in the important swing state of Florida for the day after the Democratic convention ended. But the day after the DNC convention ended the Trump cancelled that appearance and all the rest of the "Outreach To The Hispanic Community Tour." Trump initially cancelled his "Outreach" scheduled for July 8th in Miami with Cuban business and faith leaders because of the tragic shooting of police officers in Dallas. 

"RNC Chair Reince Priebus bragged prior to the Republican Convention that Trump “is going to be doing a Hispanic engagement tour coming up soon” and claimed Trump “understands” the need to expand the party in the general election. That apparently went in one ear and out the other as Trump has failed to meet with Hispanic leaders in Texas and Florida, which is only angering the few Republican Hispanic voters left." 

Then the rescheduled July 26 event was officially canceled because the roundtable participants were out of town. (Three Republican sources told BuzzFeed News a hold was put on the campaign calendar for that time slot but the event was never planned.)
Another unreported, but planned Hispanic event was also canceled: The July 5 event was supposed to bring Trump face-to-face with San Antonio business leaders and Texas Republicans, but after the campaign reached out for venue space and possible participants, the event was scrapped.      Again there is just NO WAY anyone can win a presidential election with just old white men and racists. Breitbart.com (former CEO Stephen Bannon is now Trump's campaign CEO) is a right wing, conspiracy theory, website that is known for completely making up false news and stories.

Way up. They’ve gone way up,” Trump said, to applause. "It seemed like it was validation of the time he'd spent over the last week making somewhat awkward appeals to voters in those demographics. But it’s not, because those numbers are wrong.
The problem almost certainly began with a headline at Trump’s favorite website, Breitbart.com. On the heels of Trump’s speech near Milwaukee last Tuesday, the site ran a story with a headline that would seem to make Trump's case on black voters." When Donors Donate To Trump's Campaign Do They Understand That He's Using Their Money To Feed His Narcissistic Behavior, And His Ego, And His Need To Hear Crowds Cheering, And NOT To Help His Chances Of Winning The White House?

     A good, well established, ground game, is another absolute must if you actually want to win the presidency. Renting a 10,000 seat arena in the State of Washington, where this candidate has NO CHANCE of winning is not. He also has made appearances at places like Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, once again veering from appearances in key swing states like Florida and Pennsylvania to try to bolster his support in a “true blue” state. There he spoke to African-Americans, the only problem with that is the room was filled with older white Americans. The speculation that Trump would visit Connecticut before the announcement was made drew a sharp attack from Connecticut Democrats."Donald Trump stands for everything we in Connecticut stand against. From inciting violence against his political opponent, to insulting a Gold Star family, to mocking a reporter with a physical disability, Trump has shown time and time again that he is temperamentally unfit and lacks the judgment to serve as commander-in-chief,” the Connecticut Democratic Party said in a statement.      Trump has literally NO CHANCE of winning the state of Washington state, so why is he spending his donors money renting out the 10,000 seat Xfinity Arena? A protest against Donald Trump was planned for Clark Park at the same time as the candidates event.  According to the Facebook group "No Hate in Our State," the protesters planned to march against "Trump's dangerous xenophobic, racist, misogynist, homophobic rhetoric and policies. "On this day we will come together peacefully, and reject Trump's hate, and violence," the page read. " “I think everyone who is following the polling can see what the numbers are and that is that. Hillary Clinton is winning this state by a wide margin,” said Bill Phillips, former chairman of the Snohomish County Democrats.

     Trump also predicted a general election victory in Washington state, which hasn’t voted Republican for President since Ronald Reagan in 1984. A new survey by independent pollster Stuart Elway shows Clinton leading 43% to Trump’s 24% in Washington.  VIRGINIA: Clinton: 29 Field Offices, Trump: 18 (These are actually RNC offices that Trump claimed he opened.)

     For maps showing all battleground states and how many field offices each candidate has opened SEE: The Trump campaign has a ground-game problem - pbs.org/newshour . Why isn't Trump building a good ground (get out the vote) game if he knows that there is absolutely NO WAY to win a presidential election without one? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO WIN! How can his supporters, and especially donors, no see this?!   


     I challenge any Trump supporter and/or donor to convince me that they REALLY BELIEVE that Trump is READY and WILLING to take over the presidency.
